My kindergartners enjoyed this lesson! Next time I choose a lesson that includes this much writing, I will line up an aide because 19 kindergartners need a lot of help with writing. But it was great to see their imaginations and hear them talk about how neat it would be if our school looked like that. 🙂

My kids had so much fun! We did this activity today. We used Thanksgiving foods to inspire us for some Thanksgiving buildings.

I did this with 2nd grade and they had SO much fun! I really enjoyed seeing them be creative and have conversations about how they came up with their designs.

“We have been busy after school making our way thorough @rozzylearning Stem Career Adventures! Last week students presented to be architects to design buildings inspired by food. This week we are working through the book Alice the Architect and tomorrow my 2nd graders will be making a model of a rooftop playground or animal home.”

I loved this lesson. My students were so engaged. When time was up, they said we want to do this again.
